Job Description

We are seeking a technically capable Solar PV Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in the design, construction, or operations and maintenance (O&M) of solar photovoltaic power plants.

The successful candidate will provide engineering and technical support across solar PV projects, contributing to project design, technical assessments, construction activities or the ongoing performance and maintenance of solar installations.

Candidates with practical experience in at least one of these areas will be considered.

Responsibilities

Support the engineering design and development of solar PV projects.
Assist with technical assessments, feasibility studies and project documentation.
Review solar PV layouts, electrical designs, equipment specifications and technical drawings.
Support construction planning, installation activities and commissioning of solar PV plants.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and project management teams.
Assist with monitoring the performance, efficiency and reliability of solar PV installations.
Analyse plant performance data and help identify technical issues or opportunities for improvement.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Assist with troubleshooting electrical, inverter, module and other system-related issues.
Ensure engineering activities align with relevant technical standards, safety requirements and project specifications.
Prepare technical reports, progress updates and engineering documentation.

Required Skills

A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
2–3 years of relevant experience in at least one of the following:
Solar PV plant design and engineering.
Solar PV construction, installation or commissioning.
Solar PV plant operations and maintenance.
Good understanding of solar PV systems, electrical components and power generation principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in relevant engineering software and technical tools.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
